Halloweens here in Oregon often involve some sort of rain preparation. Either, you wear a costume that keeps you warm and dry, or you find a way to stay out of the rain and still beg for candy. In the last few years, Matt and I have opted for the 'stay out of the rain' plan. This has worked in our favor, because we live in a small suburb of Portland. The downtown area of our town has shops that participate in Trick or Treating, and then there's an outlet mall close by that does the same thing. The mall is also covered and mostly enclosed, due to the colossal winds we have 7 months out of the year.
This year, Little M's 2nd cousin was able to join us. As I haven't had a chance to see if her parents are ok with her picture being posted, her face is obscured intentionally. Here we are, about to head out!
A grand time was had by all, and the kids came home with *gasp* a -reasonable- amount of candy! So nice, and going through it, there were only two pieces that were questionable.
I hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween, Samhain, or Harvest celebration, if you observe :)
